Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, is inviting motivated graduates to apply for an exciting Corporate Citizenship Graduate opportunity based in Gauteng, South Africa. This is a 2-year contract position that places you at the heart of the company’s global sustainability mission — contributing directly to programmes that shape the future of education, digital innovation, and international development.

About the Role

This graduate role offers a unique dual-workstream experience, providing operational, project management, and marketing support across two strategic initiatives: the Global Equipment Donations Program and the Digital Journey and Technical Marketing function.

Within the Global Equipment Donations Program, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management — from initial scoping through to execution and closure. You will support the onboarding of new countries into globally aligned sustainability programmes, assist in establishing local stakeholder networks comprising training partners, NGOs, government ministries, and education institutions, and ensure full compliance with internal governance and sustainability standards. Data tracking, reporting, and process documentation will form a core part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

In the Digital Journey and Technical Marketing workstream, you will contribute to the development of technical marketing materials for new educational solutions and offers. This includes designing and mapping digital journey flows to enhance stakeholder experiences, building structured asset repositories, and creating playbooks, marketing toolkits, and asset packs for both internal and external audiences. You will coordinate with suppliers, assist with quality control of marketing deliverables, and conduct light market research to support offer positioning in alignment with global teams across multiple time zones.

Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management, organisational, and multitasking abilities, paired with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be comfortable collaborating with international teams across cultures and time zones, and demonstrate an analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.

An ability to map digital journeys and understand user experience principles is essential, as is proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with digital platforms, workflow tools, or marketing software will be a distinct advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical) or Marketing Management. A Project Management qualification is advantageous.
