Mechanical | Structural | Civil | Chemical Engineering Graduates
Are you a recently qualified engineering graduate looking to launch your career in one of South Africa’s most technically demanding and respected industries? Steinmüller Africa is offering a structured Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Programme for driven graduates across four engineering disciplines — and this could be the opportunity that defines your professional future.
About Steinmüller Africa
Steinmüller Africa is a leading force in the construction and engineering sector, with decades of expertise delivering complex, large-scale industrial projects. Operating primarily across Gauteng and Mpumalanga, the company works on high-impact infrastructure that powers South Africa’s economy. Joining Steinmüller Africa means working alongside seasoned professionals on projects that matter — with the full support of a structured development programme designed to accelerate your growth from graduate to professional engineer.
The EIT Programme
This is not a passive internship. Steinmüller Africa’s EIT Programme is a purposefully structured graduate development pathway that provides hands-on, site-based experience across real engineering environments. You will be exposed to technical challenges, mentorship, and the kind of practical learning that bridges the gap between academic theory and professional engineering practice.
As an EIT, you will work on live projects at various sites, primarily in Mpumalanga and Gauteng, gaining the practical hours and competencies required for eventual professional registration.
