About the Opportunity
This is a full-time, onsite Work Integrated Learning placement based in Roodekop. The role is designed to bridge the gap between academic study and the professional world of FMCG, giving you hands-on exposure to the inner workings of one of Africa’s most respected companies. You will work under the guidance of an experienced Line Manager who will assign and oversee your WIL project throughout the placement period.
This is not a passive, observation-only internship. You will be expected to contribute meaningfully — engaging with real challenges, working alongside cross-functional teams, and delivering outcomes that matter to the business.
Key Responsibilities
As a Workplace Experience Student at Tiger Brands, you will be required to:
- Support active project work across your assigned business unit
- Problem-solve issues as they arise, applying your academic knowledge to practical situations
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to complete your Work Integrated Learning project as directed by your Line Manager
- Gain on-the-job experience that is directly aligned with your career aspirations and field of study
- Take on additional responsibilities as requested to support the achievement of broader business objectives
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must be in possession of, or currently studying towards, a relevant degree aligned to the job title — Workplace Experience Student. You should be a motivated self-starter with a genuine interest in FMCG, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
