About SAB

With 7 breweries, 42 depots, a workforce of approximately 5 000 employees, and a beer economy supporting over 250 000 jobs from seed to sip, SAB is a powerful force in the South African economy. Its iconic brand portfolio — Castle Lager, Carling Black Label, Corona, Brutal Fruit, and Flying Fish, among others — speaks to the breadth and ambition of a business that never stops dreaming bigger.
At SAB, the culture is one of passion, curiosity, and relentless forward motion. They look for people who share that drive — and then give them the teammates, tools, and opportunities to grow beyond what they imagined possible.
About the Programme
The Engineering Trainee Programme is an 18-month structured traineeship designed to equip graduates with the technical skills, practical experience, and cultural grounding they need to hit the ground running from day one of their careers. The programme is rigorous by design — because when it’s complete, successful trainees are expected to be ready for immediate allocation of real operational responsibility.
