Their Cash Solutions division, headquartered in Midrand, Gauteng, operates at the forefront of the security industry — and they are now looking for a motivated SHE Intern to join their team and contribute to the ongoing development of their health, safety, and environmental systems.
The Role
Based at the FCS Head Office in Midrand, the SHE Intern will work directly within the SHE department, gaining practical, on-the-ground experience across a broad range of safety and compliance functions. This is a structured internship designed to give graduates meaningful exposure to real-world SHE operations — not just shadowing, but actively contributing.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to support the SHE team across a variety of tasks, including:
- Assisting with day-to-day SHE administrative duties and data capturing on SHE systems
- Maintaining records, registers, and compliance documentation
- Assisting with the compilation and upkeep of Safety Files
- Supporting risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations
- Participating in safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks
- Coordinating SHE training sessions and workplace inductions
- Managing and updating legal appointments
- Compiling SHE statistics, dashboards, and reports using Microsoft Excel
- Tracking corrective actions and updating action registers
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this internship, applicants must hold a Diploma or Degree in one of the following fields:
- Safety Management
- Occupational Health & Safety
- Environmental Management or Environmental Science
- Risk Management
Additional requirements include a basic understanding of SHE systems and processes, strong administrative skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader MS Office suite, and good communication skills. A SAMTRAC qualification will be an added advantage. Above all, Fidelity Services Group is looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow, and develop within the SHE field.
