Discover Graduate Programme
This is not just a job — it is a two-year immersive leadership development journey built to transform driven graduates into future business leaders. Starting on 1 February 2027, the Discover Graduate Programme places you in a real-world, fast-paced environment where you will grow professionally and personally.
Highlights of the programme include global rotation opportunities, giving you the rare chance to gain international exposure early in your career. Upon successful completion, you will step directly into a career-defining permanent role within Vodacom.
Vodacom is looking for graduates who are purpose-driven, digitally ready, learning-agile, and hungry to make an impact. Strong critical thinking, customer awareness, accountability, and emerging leadership potential are the qualities that will set your application apart.
Requirements – Graduate Programme:
- Completing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) by end of 2026
- Minimum B-degree: B-Com, BSc, or B-Tech (NQF 7); a 3-year National Diploma (NQF 6) will be considered for Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Software Engineering, and Information Systems/IT
- Minimum 65% aggregate for most recent academic results
- Less than two years of post-study corporate work experience
- South African citizen by birth or naturalisation, or permanent resident (citizens of DRC, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Egypt, and Tanzania are encouraged to apply for their respective markets)
Internship Programme
If you are looking to take your first real step into the professional world, the Vodacom Internship Programme is a structured 12-month paid opportunity that bridges the gap between academia and industry. With start dates on 1 February and 1 March 2027, the programme offers hands-on learning, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to a dynamic digital tech environment.
The internship also serves as a key pipeline into the Discover Graduate Programme and could open the door to permanent opportunities within Vodacom.
Vodacom is looking for candidates who are eager to learn, team-oriented, digitally comfortable, reliable, and customer-aware, with a genuine appetite for growth.
Requirements – Internship Programme:
- Completing (or having completed) an undergraduate degree or equivalent by end of 2026
- South African citizen by birth
- Minimum 65% aggregate for most recent academic results
