GoldOne Gedex Operation is a gold mine situated in Brakpan, in the East Rand, east of Johannesburg, Gauteng. ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

This is a hands-on internship placement for graduates who have completed their N4–N6 Engineering Studies with a Draughting specialisation, or an equivalent qualification. Successful candidates will gain practical exposure within a gold mining environment, working alongside experienced technical teams and developing real-world draughting and engineering drawing skills.

GoldOne commits to a fair and transparent screening process based on academic performance. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to participate in a formal interview process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• National Certificate: Engineering Studies N4–N6 (Draughting)
• Technical Drawing or Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD) — Essential
• National Diploma in Draughting, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering — Advantageous
• Under 35 years of age
• No previous internship experience
• Currently unemployed
• South African citizen
• Clear criminal record
• Medically fit
• Residing in Springs, Benoni, Brakpan, or Nigel (preference will be given to Ekurhuleni residents)
