The National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI) is inviting applications for its Internship Programme 2026/2027. This is a structured 12-month internship offering South African graduates and diplomates the opportunity to gain hands-on workplace experience within one of South Africa’s key statutory bodies in the road freight and logistics sector.
Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R7,000 and will be placed across various departments at NBCRFLI offices in Braamfontein, Cape Town, and Durban.
Available Positions
The following internship roles are available:
Human Resources Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
Degree in HR, Industrial Psychology, or Human Resources Development.
Procurement Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
National Diploma and/or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
Internal Audit Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
B.Tech and/or Degree in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Risk Management, or Forensic Investigation.
Operations Intern (1 position – Cape Town)
Qualification in Bachelor of Laws (LLB), Labour Law, or a related qualification.
Operations Intern (1 position – Durban)
National Diploma and/or Degree in Labour Relations, Labour Law, or Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
Operations Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
National Diploma and/or Degree in Labour Relations, Labour Law, or Human Resource Management.
Agreement Compliance Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
Qualification in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
Risk and Compliance Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
B.Tech and/or Degree in Legal, Internal Audit, Risk Management, IT Audit, or Forensic Investigation.
Marketing & Communication Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
Diploma and/or Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Media Studies, or Digital Marketing.
Dispute Intern (2 positions – Braamfontein)
National Diploma and/or Degree in Labour Relations or Human Resource Management.
Information Technology Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
B.Tech, Advanced Diploma, and/or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or Business Analysis.
Funds Admin Intern (1 position – Braamfontein)
National Diploma or Degree in Accounting and/or Finance.
