The Role: Sales Intern
This is a part-time internship position offered in collaboration with the YES (Youth Employment Service) initiative, giving young South Africans hands-on exposure to a dynamic global sales environment. As a Sales Intern, you will be embedded within the sales team and play an active role in supporting business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services
- Investigate and identify parts and products required by customers
- Create and actively follow up on transactional quotes
- Proactively identify upselling opportunities to maximise value for both the customer and the business
- Engage with customers to ensure the proposed value proposition is clearly understood and aligned with their needs
- Utilise CRM tools and other digital platforms consistently to support the sales process and enable informed decision-making
Who Should Apply?

Educational Requirements:
- National Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, or
- Qualification in Business Administration, preferably with a focus on Sales & Marketing
Experience: 0–2 years (recent graduates are welcome)
