Siemens Digital Industries Software is inviting early-career graduates to apply for the Genesis Programme, a 10-month structured opportunity based in Pretoria. This is a hands-on introduction to a career in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) consulting, with exposure to the same tools used to design Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, and space exploration vehicles.

Overview

Running from 1 February 2027 to 30 November 2027, the Genesis Programme places graduates directly into real customer projects from day one. Rather than a conventional classroom-based graduate scheme, participants work alongside experienced consultants and project managers, learning industry-leading PLM and CAD software while contributing to live implementations across multiple sectors.

What You’ll Do

• Master PLM and CAD software through intensive, hands-on training covering fundamentals through advanced applications
• Contribute to customer-facing projects under the mentorship of experienced consultants
• Support project delivery using Siemens’ established Project Management Methodology
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve engineering challenges
• Build a professional network within the Pretoria office while developing technical and interpersonal skills
• Take ownership of a structured learning journey spanning business processes, technical competencies, and soft skills

Who Should Apply

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field

Compensation

This programme may be structured as a contingent worker arrangement depending on local legal requirements, with an anticipated monthly allowance of R25,000. Under a contingent arrangement, participants are engaged by a third-party provider rather than Siemens directly, and are not eligible for Siemens employee benefits.
