GE Vernova is offering a Project Management Intern opportunity for candidates looking to build a career in project execution within a technical, industrial environment. This is a hands-on role where you will support Senior Project Managers across the full project lifecycle, gaining exposure to planning, coordination, quality, procurement, and risk management processes used on real projects.
About the Role
Working closely with a team of experienced Project Managers, you will assist with the day-to-day execution of projects — from set up through to close out. You’ll get involved in preparing plans and schedules, tracking documentation, sitting in on daily management discussions, and coordinating with different departments to keep projects moving. It’s a role designed to give you broad, practical exposure to how projects are actually run.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Project Managers in preparing EHS plans, with guidance from the EHS Manager or Site Safety Officer
- Assist with project execution, including set up and close out
- Participate in daily management discussions and meetings
- Coordinate with the Project Administrator and Project Document Controller to keep project documentation current
- Work with the Quality Manager or Quality Advisor to review quality plans, ITPs, and ITPLs
- Prepare and review project execution plans, communication plans, and schedules
- Undertake contract reviews
- Liaise with the procurement team to support timely delivery of equipment and resources
- Prepare and update project risk registers and raise early warnings where required
Required Qualifications
- B.Eng, BSc in Engineering, or BTech in Engineering
- Exposure to planning tools such as MS Project or Primavera
- Strong skills in MS Word and Excel

- Contract management experience is advantageous
