AfriSam is offering three-year university bursaries for 2026: x1 Civil Engineering Diploma (Peninsula Quarry) and x1 Mechanical Engineering Diploma (Rheebok Quarry). Open to matriculants with a 60% average. Apply by 11 September 2026

AfriSam is inviting applications from matriculants for its 2026 university bursary programme. Successful candidates will be enrolled in a thirty-six (36) month bursary programme designed to help them acquire recognised qualifications and enter the job market fully prepared for a career in engineering.

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is aimed at matriculants who have achieved strong academic results and demonstrate good behavioural standards. Qualifying candidates should have:

  • An excellent academic track record, with a minimum of 60% average in their Matric academic results
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Good behavioural standards and a strong work ethic

What the Bursary Offers

Bursars selected for this programme will receive financial support for the full duration of their three-year diploma studies, along with the opportunity to gain practical exposure within AfriSam’s operations.
