Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd is offering an Apprentice: Electrical position based in Midrand, Gauteng, within the Milling division at the corporate office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a young, motivated individual looking to build a long-term technical career within South Africa’s FMCG industry, working across trusted, iconic brands in Bakery, Milling, Confectionery, Home & Personal Care, and Culinary.

About the Apprenticeship
This is a structured 3-year apprenticeship programme designed for individuals driven by self-development, commitment, and a genuine passion for learning a trade. The programme combines:
- Theoretical learning at an accredited learning centre
- Practical, on-the-job training, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays
During the practical phases, apprentices will work under the guidance of a qualified Artisan, gaining hands-on experience and learning to apply theoretical knowledge in a real industrial environment. On successful completion of all programme requirements, apprentices will qualify as Millwrights.

- A go-getter attitude, with a drive to learn, find solutions, and use initiative
- A genuine interest in electrical systems and a technical inclination
- Analytical and logical thinking, with strong attention to detail
- Good hand-eye coordination and enjoyment of hands-on, practical work
Requirements
Essential:
N2 qualification with four relevant subjects:
- Engineering Mathematics
- Engineering Science
- Electrical (advantageous)
- Electrical Drawings
Advantageous:
- N3 qualification
- Matric
- Some relevant work experience
Other Requirements
- Willingness to work a 6-day week and overtime as required
- Willingness to travel extensively to all Premier sites
- Ability to pass all theoretical training at the pass rate specified by management
