AVBOB, South Africa’s largest mutual assurance society and a proud 100-year-plus institution, is inviting young South African graduates to apply for its 2026/27 Internship Programme. This is a twelve (12) month opportunity for graduates who are eager to build a career with an organisation built on strong values, financial stability, and a genuine commitment to developing its people.
If you are a South African citizen between the ages of 18 and 35, and you hold a qualification from a recognised university or college, this could be the start of your professional journey.
About the Programme
Over the course of twelve months, interns will be exposed to real, hands-on work within a well-established and respected organisation. AVBOB believes in investing in young talent, and this programme offers structured development, mentorship, and the chance to gain meaningful workplace experience in your field of study. Qualifications We’re Looking For
To be considered for this programme, you must hold a Degree or Diploma from a recognised University or College in one of the following fields:
- Financial/Accounting Degree/Diploma
- LLB Degree/Labour Relations Degree/Diploma
- LLB or BCom Law Degree/Diploma
- Information Technology Degree/Diploma
- Communication Degree/Diploma
- Actuarial Science/Mathematics/Data or Business Science/Risk Management Degree/Diploma
Requirements
- South African citizen aged between 18 and 35
- A completed qualification in one of the fields listed above
- Applicants must NOT have previously served as an AVBOB Intern
- Only suitably qualified applicants will be considered
