The Border Management Authority (BMA) is inviting applications from unemployed South African youth for our prestigious 2025–2027 Internship Programme. Programme Duration and Stipend
This internship runs for 24 months, offering a stipend of R89,400.00 per annum. Interns will be placed in various directorates, depending on their qualifications and interests.

Minimum Requirements
- Must be a South African citizen aged 18 to 35 years.
- Must be currently unemployed.
- Must have completed a 3-year post-secondary qualification (e.g., National Diploma, B Tech, B Degree, Honours) from a recognised Higher Education Institution.
- Must not have participated in any previous internship programme.
- Must be available and willing to commit to the 24-month programme.

- Complete the official BMA Application Form.
- Clearly indicate the internship reference number (e.g., Internship: HCM – BMA.interns25/1/001) in the appropriate section of the form and in the email subject line.
- Attach your updated CV with major subjects clearly listed. Academic records are strongly encouraged.
- Submit your application via email to InternshipProgramme@bma.gov.za by 9 MAY 2025.
Important Notes
- Incomplete or late applications will NOT be considered.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and required to submit certified copies of their ID, qualifications, and academic transcripts.
- If you have not heard from us within 3 months after the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
