BORDER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY (BMA)
INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME 2025 – 2027

The Border Management Authority (BMA) is inviting applications from unemployed South African youth for our prestigious 2025–2027 Internship Programme. Programme Duration and Stipend
This internship runs for 24 months, offering a stipend of R89,400.00 per annum. Interns will be placed in various directorates, depending on their qualifications and interests.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen aged 18 to 35 years.
• Must be currently unemployed.
• Must have completed a 3-year post-secondary qualification (e.g., National Diploma, B Tech, B Degree, Honours) from a recognised Higher Education Institution.
• Must not have participated in any previous internship programme.
• Must be available and willing to commit to the 24-month programme.

2. Clearly indicate the internship reference number (e.g., Internship: HCM – BMA.interns25/1/001) in the appropriate section of the form and in the email subject line.
3. Attach your updated CV with major subjects clearly listed. Academic records are strongly encouraged.
4. Submit your application via email to InternshipProgramme@bma.gov.za by 9 MAY 2025.

• Incomplete or late applications will NOT be considered.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and required to submit certified copies of their ID, qualifications, and academic transcripts.
• If you have not heard from us within 3 months after the closing date, consider your application unsuccessful.
