GreenSun Renewable Energy is expanding, and we are looking for three motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Interns to join our growing team in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about renewable energy and eager to gain hands-on experience in the fast-growing solar industry.

As an Electrical Intern, you will work alongside experienced technicians and engineers on real-world solar projects across both commercial and residential environments. This role is designed to provide practical exposure and technical development, making it ideal for candidates who want to build a solid foundation in the renewable energy sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the installation and commissioning of solar PV systems
• Support troubleshooting and maintenance of existing systems
• Work with senior technicians to diagnose electrical faults
• Participate in site inspections and technical assessments
• Provide technical support across various project sites
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of electrical systems or solar energy (qualification or coursework is advantageous)
• A valid driver’s licence (essential)

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
