An opportunity to participate in a twenty-four (24) month In-Service Training programme will be afforded to students in the following study fields for experiential training, giving them the chance to gain the necessary practical experience to successfully complete their qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Civil Engineering

About the Role

The successful candidates will form part of the Construction Materials Team based at either the Rheebok or Peninsula Quarry. Trainees will be exposed to the day-to-day operations, maintenance practices, and engineering systems that keep a large-scale quarrying and materials production operation running efficiently. This is a practical, on-site learning environment suited to students who are committed to building a strong foundation in their chosen engineering discipline.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering diploma requiring in-service training
  • Excellent academic record of accomplishment
  • Willingness to be based at Rheebok or Peninsula Quarry, Cape Operations
