DRA is offering ambitious electrical engineering graduates the chance to build a career in one of South Africa’s most dynamic sectors: mining and energy. Through the 2027 Graduate Development Programme, successful candidates will join a two-year, structured pathway designed to turn academic knowledge into practical, industry-ready expertise.

This programme is aimed at Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineering graduates who are ready to move from theory to real-world impact. Over the two years, participants will rotate through four core development areas: project engineering, site and commissioning work, business acumen, and personal development. It’s a well-rounded introduction to engineering life, giving graduates exposure to technical delivery as well as the commercial and interpersonal skills needed to grow into future engineering leaders.

Location and Role Details

The position is based in Bryanston/Woodmead, within the Johannesburg Metro, and is offered on a contract basis. Salary is paid in ZAR per month, in line with DRA’s graduate remuneration structure.
