About the Learnership
Sasol is recruiting four (4) learners for its Chemical Plant Operator Learnership based in Komatipoort, Mpumalanga. This is a fixed-term contract position structured as a formal learnership programme, combining on-the-job learning with structured institutional training. Learners will gain practical workplace experience while building the theoretical foundation needed for a career in chemical plant operations.
Preference will be given to candidates from the Nkomazi area.
What You Will Do
As part of the learnership, successful candidates will:
- Participate fully in the Learnership programme and complete all required assessments
- Engage in workplace readiness activities and exercises designed to prepare you for a professional environment
- Develop practical skills in chemical plant operations under the guidance of experienced Sasol professionals
Minimum Requirements
To be considered, applicants must have one of the following:
Option 1 — Grade 12 National Senior Certificate (6 subjects) with passes in:
- Technical Mathematics or Mathematics
- English
- Technical Science or Physical Science
Option 2 — N3 National Senior Certificate (6 subjects) with passes in:
- Mathematics
- English
- Engineering Science
