About the Role

As a Civil Engineering Intern at TCTA, you will be immersed in a structured training and mentorship programme that exposes you to core engineering disciplines and professional practice. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams on water infrastructure projects, building the technical and professional competencies required for a successful engineering career.

Key Performance Areas

Engineering Problem-Solving and Design
You will contribute to the identification and analysis of complex engineering challenges, supporting the development of designs and technical evaluation of engineering solutions within TCTA’s project portfolio.

Engineering and Project Management
You will participate in project coordination and monitoring activities, including the preparation of technical documentation and progress tracking across active infrastructure projects.

Professional and Technical Communication
You will produce professional technical reports, meeting minutes, and project documentation while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate effective information exchange.

Professional Ethics, Safety, and Responsibility
You will be expected to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct, adhering to occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations. A demonstrated awareness of regulatory compliance and sustainable engineering practices is essential.

Training and Development
You will actively engage in formal mentorship and training and development programmes, taking ownership of your growth as an emerging engineering professional.

Minimum Requirements

  • BSc or BEng in Civil Engineering
  • Applicants who have previously served as interns in the same field will not be considered
