The Department of Employment and Labour invites all qualifying unemployed South African graduates to apply for the 2025–2027 Internship Programme. The programme runs for a period of 24 months and aims to provide graduates with practical workplace exposure and skills development within the Department.
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R7 860.50. Placements will be made either at the Head Office in Pretoria or within Provincial Offices nationwide.
This opportunity is open to unemployed South African citizens who have never participated in an internship programme before. Youth, persons from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, and persons living with disabilities are encouraged to apply in line with the Department’s Employment Equity Plan.
