Role Overview

As a Field Service Graduate Intern (CG20), you will be introduced to the world of technical field service, supporting customers with both onsite and remote assistance under the guidance of experienced senior technicians. This is a structured, supervised role designed to build your technical foundation while exposing you to real-world engineering environments and customer-facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will perform basic and routine technical support and troubleshooting for customers, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues in line with company guidelines and safety protocols. You will follow detailed instructions and adhere to established safety standards to ensure proper product functioning and compliance with regulatory requirements.

You will develop familiarity with a variety of tasks and procedures, executing assignments using standard operating procedures (SOPs) and seeking solutions within defined frameworks when deviations arise. Accurate documentation of all service activities — including diagnostics, parts used, and customer interactions — will be captured using the Service Management System to maintain a comprehensive service history.

You will support senior technicians during installations and repairs, providing the necessary tools and learning directly from their expertise. Responding to customer inquiries and complaints professionally, and escalating complex issues to senior staff where necessary, will also form part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Active participation in ongoing training sessions will ensure you stay current with the latest products and service procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
  • No prior work experience required — recent graduates are encouraged to apply
