Air Traffic and Navigation Services (ATNS) is inviting South African graduates to apply for its 2026 Support Graduate in Training Programme, giving recent graduates a structured route into the world of work through a 24-month development programme based at the company’s head office in Bruma and its Aviation Training Academy in Johannesburg.

About the Programme

The ATNS Graduate in Training Programme is designed to transform graduates into high-performing professionals equipped to contribute meaningfully to South Africa’s economy. Over 24 months, selected candidates will receive structured on-the-job training, technical and professional development, mentorship, and coaching. Graduates will also receive a monthly salary throughout the programme.

At the end of the 24 months, ATNS may consider placing candidates permanently in a suitable role, depending on business need, available opportunities, and each candidate’s performance and competence.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this programme, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Have completed a degree or diploma-level qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field such as Data Science, Architecture, or IT Governance and Strategic Management of Technology
  • Have no more than one year of full-time work experience in their field of study since graduating
  • Be computer literate
