As the group accelerates its digital transformation agenda, we are looking for a sharp and forward-thinking AI Developer Intern to join our innovation team and help shape the way we work across all business units.

About the Role

This is not a desk-bound internship where you shadow meetings and file reports. You will be actively involved in developing and testing AI-driven solutions, building automation tools, and contributing to real projects that influence how a multi-industry group operates. You will work alongside IT, HR, Operations, and senior management — gaining rare cross-industry exposure that most graduates simply don’t get at this stage of their careers.

From chatbot development and workflow automation to data analysis and system integration, your work will directly support Bluespec’s drive toward smarter, faster, and more efficient operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Developing and testing AI solutions and automation tools across business units
• Supporting business process improvement initiatives through technology
• Collecting, analysing, and reporting on data from multiple operational areas
• Researching emerging AI technologies and identifying practical applications
• Assisting with chatbot builds, workflow automation, and reporting projects
• Integrating AI tools into day-to-day administrative and operational processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on live innovation projects
• Maintaining accurate documentation and tracking project progress
• Handling all company data with strict confidentiality and accuracy

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• Basic understanding of AI concepts and tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

Advantageous

• Hands-on experience with AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or Gemini
• Basic programming or scripting knowledge (Python preferred)
• Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, or similar reporting and database tools
• Interest in machine learning, automation, or digital transformation
