About the Programme

The Apex Group Internship Programme successfully places candidates within various divisions of Apex Fund Services South Africa, providing the workplace experience needed to establish a strong foundation for your career. Interns are placed on a 12-month contract and receive a monthly stipend throughout the duration of the programme.

At the end of the contract, interns who meet Apex’s recruitment requirements are welcome to apply for available vacancies on the company’s career portal. While no guarantees are given, Apex has a strong track record of interns being successfully placed into permanent roles following the completion of their internship.

This programme is aimed at individuals who have completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Investment, HR, Legal, or Marketing.

Job Specification

Responsibilities will vary depending on the department to which the intern is placed. Interns will be expected to drive and contribute to a culture of quality and excellence, through risk awareness and adherence to compliance standards and operational controls.

Requirements

  • Completed Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification (essential)
  • No prior experience required
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow rules and procedures
  • Ability to work independently on own initiative
