About the Opportunity
Clicks Group is looking for motivated and eager IT Diploma Graduates to join their IT support team on a fixed-term contract. This internship is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world IT practice, giving you exposure to enterprise systems, technical troubleshooting, and professional customer service — all within one of South Africa’s leading wholesale and retail organisations.
What You Will Be Doing
As an IT Support Intern, you will be embedded within the IT team, contributing to the day-to-day maintenance and support of the organisation’s computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with troubleshooting of desktop and laptop issues across both hardware and software
- Supporting the installation and configuration of new computers and peripheral devices
- Helping with software updates, system patching, and routine maintenance under supervision
- Shadowing senior technicians to gain exposure to diagnostics and problem resolution processes
- Documenting solutions and updating the internal knowledge base for recurring technical issues
- Providing first-line user support in person, remotely, and over the phone
- Assisting with the upkeep of the hardware and software asset register
- Ensuring adherence to IT security protocols and health and safety standards
What You Will Learn
This internship goes beyond basic support tasks. You will receive structured exposure to a range of enterprise tools and concepts, including:
- Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory
- Foundational networking concepts and infrastructure
- Microsoft SCCM and Intune for software deployment and patch management

Who Should Apply
