Organisation: Coega Development Corporation (CDC)
Location: Gqeberha, Eastern Cape
Duration: 24 Months (2 Years)
Closing Date: Monday, 25 May 2026
Are you a young, driven graduate ready to take your first step into the professional world? The Coega Development Corporation (CDC) is inviting applications for its 2026 Internship Programme, offering qualifying graduates a structured and meaningful 24-month work experience opportunity across two specialised business units.
Coega SEZ is one of South Africa’s most dynamic Special Economic Zones, and a leading catalyst for socio-economic development on the African continent. As a BBBEE Level 1 Contributor and holder of multiple ISO certifications, the CDC is committed to developing the next generation of skilled South African professionals — and this internship programme is a direct expression of that commitment.
About the Programme
The Coega Internship Programme is designed to bridge the gap between academic study and the world of work. Over the course of two years, interns will be placed within a specific business unit where they will gain hands-on exposure to real workplace environments, participate in a formalised programme of structured activities, and benefit from dedicated mentoring and coaching throughout their placement.
This is not a passive observational role. Interns are expected to actively contribute, learn, and grow — supported by experienced professionals who are invested in transferring knowledge and building capability.
