Internship Programme (12 Months)

  • HR Intern — Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management
  • Operations/Production Management Intern — Degree in Production/Operations Management
  • Data Science Intern — Degree in Data Science
  • Finance Intern — Degree in Finance/Financial Management
  • EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Intern — Degree in Safety Management
  • IT Intern — Diploma or Degree in Information Technology

Engineering in Training Programme (24 Months)

  • EIT — Electrical Engineering — BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering
  • EIT — Industrial Engineering — BSc or BEng in Industrial Engineering
  • EIT — Metallurgy — BSc or BEng in Physical Metallurgy or related degree

What You Will Do

Depending on your discipline, responsibilities include supporting HR functions such as recruitment and employee relations; assisting with daily production and operational processes; data collection, visualisation, and reporting; financial record-keeping and reporting; EHS compliance, safety file maintenance, and incident investigations; IT support including network management, SAP application support, and server infrastructure; electrical and electronic component design and maintenance; industrial process optimisation; and metallurgical analysis including microstructural analysis, hardness testing, and failure analysis.

Location

All positions are based onsite at Komatsu’s Wadeville facility, Germiston, Gauteng.
