About the Programme

The Risk Graduate Programme is a structured development opportunity for an unemployed graduate who wants to build a career in risk management within the financial services and insurance industry. You will gain practical workplace experience by supporting risk management activities across the business, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, governance and control processes.

You will see how risk considerations feed into business decision-making and day-to-day operations. Through hands-on work, mentoring and structured development, you will build the technical, analytical and professional skills needed for a strong start in risk management.

Please note that completing the programme does not guarantee permanent employment. It does provide valuable industry experience and career development. You will be employed for a period of twelve (12) months.

Minimum Requirements

• South African citizen
• Between 18 and 35 years old
• Currently unemployed
• A relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Risk Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Management, Auditing, Statistics, Mathematics or a related discipline
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Work Arrangement

This role is office-based in Sandton. Remote work is not available.
