About the :DynamX Trainee Programme

The :DynamX Trainee Programme is a highly competitive, 24-month graduate development programme based at SAB’s headquarters in Sandton. Structured as segmented fixed-term contracts, the programme is built for graduates who are ready to be challenged, stretched, and developed into future business leaders.

The programme is anchored in the 70-20-10 learning model:

  • 70% of learning comes from challenging real-world experiences and high-impact projects
  • 20% from developmental relationships and mentorship
  • 10% from coursework and formal training

Participants rotate through various business functions in 6-month cycles, gaining meaningful cross-functional exposure across SAB’s fast-paced corporate environment. Robust evaluations determine progression through each phase of the programme, ensuring that only the most dedicated and high-performing trainees advance. Upon successful completion of the full 24 months, graduates become eligible to apply for permanent roles within the business.

Who Should Apply?

SAB is looking for graduates who hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent tertiary qualification) in one of the following fields:

  • Finance
  • Human Resources or Psychology
  • Marketing
  • Technology
  • Engineering
  • Supply Chain Management or Logistics

Additional requirements include:

  • No more than 2 years of full-time formal work experience by the programme start date (internships and vacation work are excluded)
  • Completed Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution by programme start
  • Full South African citizenship and legal work authorisation
  • Willingness to relocate within South Africa
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
