Minimum Requirements
Candidates must hold a qualification in a relevant field at NQF Level 6, as recognised by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), in one of the following disciplines: Public Administration, Public Management, Business Administration, Economics, Development Studies, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Social Sciences, Social Security, Law, or Information Technology.
Key Responsibilities
The successful incumbent will be responsible for providing grant customer service to members of the public; screening and capturing applications, including beneficiary maintenance functions; administering medical bookings and assessments; providing off-site grant application services to clients; and managing the scanning and batching of grant files.

Appointment is subject to compulsory pre-employment screening, including qualification verification, reference checks, ITC checks, and criminal record checks. All SASSA staff are subject to compulsory Security Vetting upon appointment.
