What Vodacom Covers

This is not a partial bursary — Vodacom provides an extensive package designed to remove financial barriers so that you can focus entirely on your studies. Successful applicants will receive:

  • Orientation workshop for all newly accepted bursars
  • Vacation Work through Vodacom’s structured workplace exposure programme

Who Can Apply?

Before applying, make sure you meet all of the following minimum requirements:

  • You are a South African citizen by birth
  • You are currently in Matric or have already completed Matric
  • You are studying or intend to study full-time towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the fields listed above
  • You will be entering your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of full-time study in 2027
  • You are studying or intend to study at a recognised and accredited South African tertiary institution
  • You achieved an exemption pass in Matric with a minimum of 70% for all subjects
  • If currently studying (1st year or higher), you have a minimum overall average of 65% at tertiary level
  • You are in financial need
