About the Role

As part of Hatch’s Project Delivery Group (PDG), the successful graduate will be embedded in a team of professional engineers, designers, and technologists with deep experience in the design, construction, and commissioning of large- and small-scale facilities across the globe. The Electrical team works across diverse sectors including Mining & Metals, Energy, Digital, and Infrastructure — giving graduates the rare advantage of breadth from the very start of their careers.

Hatch is looking for young engineers who are eager to engage with complex engineering projects, demonstrate sharp problem-solving skills, and develop practical solutions in high-stakes environments. Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this programme, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • South African citizen
  • Final-year student or graduate holding a BSc or BEng in Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution
  • No more than 12 months of working experience
  • Minimum average academic achievement of 65%
  • Must attach a copy of the most recent full academic transcript
  • Willingness to work in any province within South Africa
