The Masins Mothoda Special Economic Zone (MMSEZ) is inviting motivated and ambitious students to apply for Work Integrated Learning (WIL) placements across a range of engineering and built environment disciplines. MMSEZ is offering placements in the following fields:

  • Mechanical Engineering (x1)

  • Quantity Surveying (x1)

These placements are designed to give students meaningful, practical exposure to real-world projects and operations within the Special Economic Zone, complementing their theoretical studies and fulfilling institutional WIL requirements.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for a WIL placement at MMSEZ, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • N6 Certificate or Diploma in a relevant field
  • Must require Work Integrated Learning (WIL) to complete their qualification

Applicants must be registered students at a recognised Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college or institution and must be in a position to provide confirmation from their institution that WIL is a compulsory component of their programme.
